Hi! My name is Kathryn Ward. I grew up in Monroe, Louisiana and graduated from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. After arriving in St. Louis, I earned my Master of Science Degree in Computers in Education from Fontbonne University. I am currently working on getting my Master of Arts Degree in Integrated School Library Media and Technology.
Although I have been at Conway for fourteen years, this is my ninth year as a fourth grade teacher. I am excited to start my twenty-fourth year of teaching with my new fourth grade class!
In addition to teaching, I love to read and travel. This summer, I read all of this year’s Mark Twain Award nominees. I can’t wait to share my excitement about these wonderful books with you. I am also currently working on visiting all fifty states. I only have five more to go! If you visit my classroom, you will be able to tell that I also love movies. Feel free to stop by for a visit.
